Jaguar Cars is one of the world's premier manufacturers of luxury sports saloons and sports cars. In 1985 OHM Group was appointed Jaguar distributors for Ireland. At that time Jaguar sales in Ireland were at their lowest ever. A strong marketing strategy was crucial in restoring and developing the positive public image now associated with the brand. A wider model range and an expanded dealer network have contributed to the achievement of a significant share of the Irish luxury car market.
In 2008, following the sale of the Jaguar and Land Rover brands by Ford to Tata Motors, Jaguar set out to revitalise the brand and model range. This started with the introduction of the all-new award winning XF. In 2009, Jaguar re-engineered the XK coupe and convertible and in the process created one of the world's great grand tourers. And 2010 saw the beginning of sales of the ground-breaking all-new XJ. More recently, 2013 has brought the launch of the all-new Jaguar F-TYPE – Jaguar’s first sports car in 60 years and the spiritual successor of the iconic E-TYPE.
